			<title>Amazing write-up</title>
			<link>http://www.omniscium.com/Creativity/Seeking-Rejection.html#josc21</link>
			<description>Thought-provoking article !
I have a few similar experiences where I felt I should have received feedback, even though I was rejected. Guess people don\'t realise the time and effort spent on something creative which they actually wanted. Welcome, join the gang !

P.S. Tried hard, but could not fathom \&quot;I often wonder if people notice that the letters at the beginning of the lines correspond to the letters e,g,b,d,f? \&quot;

Regards,

			<description>John, I liked your submission. The only problem with your writing was that you might have explained the E,G,B,D,F. I\'ve been briefly trained in piano, but I know immediately what you were trying to do.

Perhaps they were looking for some of your former work. I don\'t think they have any clients involved in music, do they? I could be wrong about that, but it might have been good to understand their client list at this time.

Also, you have misspelled the word \&quot;disappointed\&quot; in your post!

Forgive me, I\'ve been writing copy for decades (McCann-Erickson, Norman, Craig &amp; Kummel, BBDO, and tons of temporary jobs, all in Miami or NYC). Spelling errors just jump out at me.

Don\'t feel badly. I was interviewed by Weiden + Kennedy about ten years ago. I got to the fourth interview, all with women, and was suddenly rejected. I think it was my age, but it didn\'t really matter.

I\'ve worked for women before and can\'t remember one that actually helped advance my career. This goes back to the 1950s. Since I was one of the first women on-air in radio and TV, most people who hired me were men, of course.

Hope you connect with a position soon.

Cordially,
