Outgoing emails too.

I have given this idea some thought too. I would have an outgoing filter as well. I get a lot of forwarded stuff from people who think they are doing me a favour. If they got warned that the item was found false by Snopes before they sent it, maybe they would think twice about forwarding it.

What about the mail that comes with \"as
verified by Snopes\". When you can see the red light coming a mile away.

Yes I would like to have this Snopes Mail Integration for both my incoming and outgoing emails. I recently received a forwarded email offering a FREE Ericson laptop if I send to 8 or 20 persons, which I think Snopes would know whether it\'s true or false. Thanks.

I wish there was a snopes filter like this we could integrate into my mother\'s e-mail (and every friend and relative of hers that sends her the garbage she then forwards on to me). It could just be a button in the menu-bar of the e-mail client, it scans the text and runs a check against the snopes database and comes back with a true/ false. Seems simple enough, but I don\'t know a thing about programming...
